Welcome to the Posth Lab at the University of Copenhagen. We study the interaction between life and the physical world, the abiotic vs. biotic, and the impact of the smallest lifeforms across vast geographical areas. Our projects cover biogeochemical cycling in marine and freshwater environments. In particular, we focus on microbial element cycling, biomineralization, and microbe-surface interactions.
